England head coach Brendon McCullum: "It's been a really good two weeks. Any time you go through a period of transition and change, you have aspirations and hopes on what you can achieve. Sometimes, they happen quick and sometimes it takes a long time. But in the last couple of weeks, we have seen a clear blueprint of how Harry Brook wants this cricket team to run. That's a real positive.

"It's also a real positive for Brook and the team to have Jos [Buttler] in the ranks and contributing the way he has, it's been just outstanding and not just on the pitch but also in the dressing room and around the group. It reminds me a lot of Joe Root when it came to Ben Stokes' Test captaincy. It's a good mark of someone's character.

"I have let [Brook] find his way [of captaincy]. He doesn't like to make things complicated. He likes to keep it simple. His calmness and ability to keep it simple rubs on other guys. He has captained a lot of sides growing up. He's got great friendships.

"We haven't conquered the world but we have made a nice start over the last couple of weeks. It's good positive signs."

England captain Harry Brook: "Very pleased, I think the lads have put a really good shift in. To top off the series like we have tonight is really pleasing.

"I like the depth in the batting, it gives the lads at the top permission to go out there and get us off to a flier like they did today."

On preparation for the Tests: "I'll be batting a lot in the nets, try and prepare as best I can."

West Indies captain Shai Hope: "We haven't really put a complete game together in this series. We just need to find ways to do it. We need to keep chipping away and try to get as good as we can.

"At the end of the day, you need to find ways to score and maximise the deliveries. The key to me is to limit as many dot balls as possible. In the Caribbean, we have a lot of power-hitters. If we can marry the two together and try to rotate the strike when it's a bit difficult, it will help.

"As a West Indies batting group, we need to find ways to score more consistently moving forward."

On the tour of Ireland: "We need to improve everywhere. We got three more games. It's a quick turnaround once again but something to look forward to."

Player of the series Jos Buttler: "We've played some really good cricket, we've had the results to match.

"I'm finding new ways to improve. The new role at number three gives me things to think about.

"Having played for a while a now it's trying to dip into that experience, looking at the situation and seeing what's required.

"Brooky's marshalled the spinners really well, they've done well at all the different grounds."

Player of the match Ben Duckett: "It was a great pitch to bat on. The ball didn't do a great deal and me and Jamie [Smith] looked to put pressure straight form the start. The way he took down the seamers made my life easier.

"I try and keep it pretty simple as people know. You try to play a bit more expansive shots in T20 cricket but I try to stick to my strength throughout. So very simple in the way I train."

On his partnership with Smith: "It's really good. In Test cricket, we haven't batted a lot together. We are pretty similar out there. We keep things simple and he hits the ball in a completely different compared to me. So far, so good."

What I loved about the England batters was their awareness, when building partnerships.

Jamie Smith and Ben Duckett played in tandem versus trying play shot for shot against each other. They batted really well and there is a partnership there that England will see for a number of years.

Ben Duckett summed that up very well today. Yes, you can smash it down the ground, but then you can also reverse ramp and play all the 360 shots that you need at this level.

We have seen it all. It's been a full-on treat.

The West Indies finished on 211-8 - that'd be pretty healthy in most scenarios, but England absolutely bludgeoned the West Indies attack to set-up a comprehensive victory.

For the record, England hit 18 fours and 15 sixes, while the West Indies hit 15 fours - nine of them Powell's - and 14 sixes.
